But KIm Kardashian managed to make her gold Rolex look cheap as she filmed her reality show in Miami on Tuesday.
The brunette matched the expensive timepiece with a pair of chunky gold bracelets by the designer Celine.
But the effect was overkill, with the three statement pieces clashing for attention.
Not that Kim minded, obviously feeling that more was, well, more.
She tweeted 'Gold Rush', showing off another piece of her bling - a solid Gold backed iPhone.
Kim isn't even a user of Apple's technology, preferring instead her trusty Blackberry which also featured in the shot.
But she obviously couldn't resist the shiny one-off, which was perhaps a gift - she was first spotted with it as she returned from her whirlwind trip to Bahrain.
The 32-year-old teamed her ostentatious gold watch with a Givenchy shirt and Christian Louboutin Shoes.
In a nod to her rather lower-end fashion range she also donned a pair of leggings from the Kardashian Kollection, which she and her sisters put their names to.
Busy Kim is also promoting the range. which is sold at Sears in the U.S., although she generally prefers designer clothes for herself.
Kim has just returned to the States from her visit to the Gulf Kingdom of Bahrain, which she appears to feel was a huge success.
