But Reese Witherspoon knows that even the most loving parent needs some alone time in order to recharge their batteries.
And the actress, who welcomed her third child Tennessee James in September, appeared to have reaped the benefits of some time to herself as she arrived back at her Tribeca hotel on Wednesday.
Reese was in Manhattan for the ICAP Charity event that saw celebrities trade stock for the cause of their choice.
The 36-year-old showed off her post-pregnancy trim figure in a flared wool coat, short black skirt and platform ankle boots.
This Means War star Reese, who is also mother to Ava, 13, and Deacon, eight, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, is being honored by March of Dimes for being a model celebrity parent later this week.
'I was very lucky to have a healthy delivery and leave the hospital with a healthy full term infant, but so many families in this country do not get that experience,' Reese said in a statement on their website,
The Oscar winner will receive the organization's Grace Kelly Award at its Celebration of Babies event Friday at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The award recognizes celebrity parents who are committed to healthy pregnancies and families.
