She's not just one kind of diva.
Miley Cyrus rocked out two very different looks at VH1 Divas Sunday night - a black Omo by Norma Kamali turtleneck dress with diamond cut-outs, and a Billy Idol-inspired studded leather crop-top and trousers.
The 20-year-old pop starlet was clearly set on emulating the punk rocker in order to belt out his hit song, Rebel Yell, onstage at the Shrine Auditorium.
Despite the fact that she was only nine years old when it was originally released, the former Disney star definitely shares the same short platinum hairdo and rebellious attitude as Idol.
And she made sure to stage dive and grab her crotch numerous times throughout the cage-decorated show, as flames billowed behind her and the roaring crowd clutched bizarre foam night sticks.
American Idol alum Adam Lambert hosted the annual show, airing Sunday night, with Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Jordin Sparks, Pitbull, and Kelly Clarkson also performing.
There was also a special segment paying homage to recently-deceased divas, Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.
Earlier on the event's red carpet, the Hannah Montana actress looked practically ladylike in her ankle-length LBD, which she paired with Jean Michel Cazabat shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Miley's grinning appearance was a welcome sighting after she was left heartbroken when her beloved two-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Lila, died last week.
'For everyone asking... I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken... Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away,' the pixie-haired pop star tweeted to her 10.8 million followers.
The avid dog lover has been seeking solace in her four other pups - bulldog Ziggy, husky Floyd, pit bull Mary Jane, and rottweiler Happy.
'This is just what mommy needed. These precious babies still here on earth are just what the doctor ordered. #pupsheal,' she followed up in a series of canine snaps.
