Performance of the series: James Arthur wowed the X Factor judges with his incredible rendition of LMFAO's famous track on Saturday night's show

James Arthur conquered his fears on Saturday night's X Factor to deliver a performance deemed the best of the series by judge Gary Barlow.
The 24-year-old singer, who caused concern last weekend when his anxiety attack led to an ambulance being called, wowed with his incredible rendition of LMFAO's I'm Sexy And I Know It.

And following his performance, Gary told him: 'Amazing, amazing, amazing, You absolutely turned that song on its head and you gave those stupid lyrics meaning. This wasn't only the performance of the night, but of the series so far.'
Before performing, James had explained exactly what happened last Saturday which led to the emergency medics being called.

He said: 'Saturday was really overwhelming. Building up to the peformance, I began to feel a bit funny.
But coming off stage I couldn't feel my arms, I couldn't breathe properly. I was properly freaking out so they had to call an ambulance. They then discovered it was an anxiety attack and they needed to calm me down for half an hour.'
