Miss Universe 2012 is the 61st Miss Universe pageant, and will be held on December 19, 2012 in PH Live at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Leila Lopes from Angola will crown her successor at the end of the event. 89 countries and territories are expected to participate in this year pageant and broadcasted live in participant countries and teritorries by NBC, Telemundo & the international broadcasters.

Winifrida is currently studying History, Geography, and English, in hopes of becoming an Ambassador for her country in the future and engaging in charity work.

Nutpimon Farida Waller grew up in the coastal town of Krabi. Raised by her father, Nutpimon Farida spent her childhood going to the beach and building sand castles. She donates much of her time to visiting nursing homes for the old. She also enjoys going to church, scuba diving, and cooking. Currently, Nutpimon Farida attends Chulalongkorn University of Thailand working to achieve a degree in Arts and Humanities.

Avionne Mark was always a tomboy growing up, playing in the streets of her hometown in Champ Fleurs. She has a keen interest in youth development and tourism policy changes. Avionne’s hobbies range from hiking and going to the beach to writing poetry and makeup artistry. Her career ambition is to become a Tourism Ambassador.

Her interests in life include watching football matches with friends, taking walks with her dog, and learning Spanish. Olivia Culpo grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island as the middle child of five. With two avid musicians as parents, her and her siblings each studied different instruments throughout their childhood, Olivia’s choice instrument being the cello. Her other interests include movies, museums, concerts, and making people laugh. One day, Olivia hopes to land a career in either film or television.
