Cool in shades: Taylor Swift was mobbed by fans as she went shopping in Sydney, Australia on Sunday When you’re one of the biggest music stars on the planet at the moment and have dated many heartthrobs of Hollywood, calling on a stylist is the way the rich and famous usually go about making purchases. But Taylor Swift – perhaps naively – opted to enjoy a bit of retail therapy as she arrived in Sydney on Sunday. The 22-year-old stepped out in the Australian city after flying in from Tokyo, and hit the shops to add to her clothing and accessories collection.

Say cheese: Taylor was happy to posed with her admirers Taylor donned maroon skinny jeans with a white shirt and black brogues as she browsed the stores. The blonde kept her locks tied back into a ponytail and donned her signature red lipstick plus a brown satchel bag. Her first stop saw her snap up the star staple of sun shades, checking out the Sunglasses Hut for more eyewear as she was there for the country’s summer.

But Taylor was all too happy to pose with admirers, even helping them to take pictures with her. All the attention didn’t put her off the outing though and she continued to rifle through the rails at other fashion stores.

Style hit: She donned maroon trousers with a white shirt and black brogues The star was getting ready to appear on The Today Show, Australia’s longest running breakfast TV programme, where she performed in their Studio 22. Despite her tiny frame, she expressed her excitement at being able to tuck into naughty treats so early in the morning as she shared a snap of a bowl of sweets. She captioned the image: ‘Just got to my dressing room. @TheTodayShow clearly understands me.’
