The 22-year-old Twilight star showed up to the Today Show on Wednesday looking as if she had just rolled out of bed, with her hair left unstyled and greasy. While the actress managed to muster a smile for fans waiting outside the studio in New York's Rockefeller Centre, her hair screamed she was not ready to face tough questions over her on-and-off again relationship with long term boyfriend and Breaking Dawn Part II co-star Robert Pattinson, 26.
Grunge girl: Kristen was dressed down for her TV appearance in an all-black outfit and unkempt hair With her unkempt hair covering her face, Kristen still showed off her slim physic wearing skin-tight black jeans and a tailored leather jacket. The On the Road actress did managed to make one fashion concession for the nationally broadcast morning show, changing out of her beat up tennis shoes into a pair of striking Pedro Garcia glossy leather heels. But even her greasy, face-obscuring locks weren't going to help her hide from the tough questions from the Today Show crew.

The pair had split after photographs emerged of the actress kissing her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. However, recently Rob and Kristen have been seen holding hands, sparking rumours the pair is once again dating. Savannah Guthrie asked the Twilight star to clarify what her relationship status with Rob is: 'Kristen you have so many fans, and they will be mad at us if we don't ask you. They follow your life and they want to know, are you back together with Robert Pattinson?'

'I'm just going to let people watch whatever little movie they would like to think our lives are, and keep them guessing I always say.' Kristen is also keeping the other co-stars of the final instalment of the Twilight Saga guessing too. In this month's Cosmopolitan, close friend Taylor Lautner, 20, struggled to answer a question on getting back with an ex after cheating. The hunky werewolf made sure to praise his embattled friend while sharing his thoughts on infidelity. 'Kristen is fantastic at everything she does,' Taylor said. 'I'm always proud of her.'
