He has shot to prominence in his own right after dating a pop star four years his senior.
But Conor Kennedy was a single man for one night only as he attended the premiere of Ethel on his own in New York on Monday night - without Taylor Swift.
But the country darling had no need to worry, for he had plenty of chaperones at the showing of the HBO documentary.
Family affair: The premiere was a boon to Kennedy followers with several generations in attendance
Several members of the Kennedy clan came out for the event at Manhattan's Time Warner Centre, including Ethel Kennedy, daughter and filmmaker Rory, and her sister, Kerry Kennedy.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the documentary's subject, Robert F Kennedy's wife, Ethel.

Emmy-winning filmmaker Rory made the film for HBO, but admits she had to be pushed to make the documentary.

But the fact her mother Ethel agreed to take part and record her first interview in 25 years helped persuade her to take on the task.
She said: 'I didn't really want to do it mostly for personal reasons. I didn't want to ask my mother and my siblings to go through some of the difficult moments that have been part of our history.
'It said a lot that she was willing to do it. It was a real gift and I'm so grateful that I had that experience.'
