'They usually email': Taylor Swift reveals ex lovers want to know if they inspired her songs... but tell-all reputation doesn't put them off

By JENNIFER PEARSON

Pretty in polka dots: Taylor Swift showed up on The View wearing a fashion statement favourite on Wednesday. Taylor sang her song 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' She uses her love life as direct inspiration for her love songs. But Taylor Swift has insisted that the chance of hearing their private life on the radio doesn't put men off. In fact she claims her ex-lovers are instead keen to know if they inspired her. 'It's usually emails,' she said, as she promoted her new album, Red, on The View on Wednesday.
Red inspired: Taylor said her album was inspired by a past relationship 'that was the best thing ever and the worst thing ever' The ladies suggested that some guys might run to the hills when Taylor approaches, but the genteel Taylor insisted: 'I've never had anybody do that.' Taylor further that she didn't have 'a type'. 'I never pick someone for the reason I picked another person,' she explained. 'I don't have a type. It's case by case.' For now, her 'type' is Conor Kennedy, 18, whom she's been dating for several months.
Flash back: Taylor's look is retro-inspired and featured a thin red belt and closed-toe, ankle-strap heels The 22-year-old showed up on the chatshow looking very prim and proper in a polka dot top and flaring black skirt paired with a thin red belt and ankle-strap black heels. Her long blonde was perfectly styled, long and hanging over one shoulder, and showing off one pearl drop earring. Red was released on Tuesday and Taylor's music video Begin Agai' just landed on Vevo Certifed, which happens when an artist's video is watched by fans more than 100 million times.
On The View: When the ladies asked Taylor how she spends her money, Taylor admitted, 'I love room service' 'The real turning point (of 'Red') was writing about this relationship that was the best thing ever and the worst thing ever at the same time,' Taylor said with a straight face. 'It was really intense with all the intense emotions of red, the passion and the jealousy. To me, those (emotions) are represented by the colour of red.' source: dailymail
