She may now be a fully-fledged fashionista, but there's no doubt Kelly Osbourne committed more than her fair share of style crimes in her younger years.
And the 28-year-old star couldn't hide her disbelief as she was the recipient of the Ultimate Style Award at Tuesday night's Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of The Year Awards 2012 with VO5.
Accepting the accolade from Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw, the lilac-haired presenter paid tribute to her formerly eclectic sense of style.
Style queen: The 28-year-old star showed off her trim figure in a silver and lilac silk dress and silver peep-toe platform heels
Taking to the stage at London's Victoria and Albert Museum, she said: 'I used to look like s**t. I never thought I'd get a style award.
'Cosmo putting me on their cover a couple of years ago did wonders for my self-esteem.' But arriving at the star-studded event, Kelly wouldn't have looked out of place among any fashion set.
Smitten: Kelly attended the awards ceremony alongside her boyfriend, Matthew Mosshart
Showing off her trim figure in a form-fitting floral print silver and lilac silk dress, the Fashion Police host looked simply stunning.
While the pretty frock accentuated Kelly's slim waist, the daughter of Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne added height to her frame with a pair of towering peep-toe stilettos, while she kept her lilac curls swept to one side.
And although she looked the picture of happiness as she posed alongside her boyfriend, Matthew Mosshart, she recently admitted she has struggled to accept her slender frame after losing 65lbs.
Fashion faux pas: Kelly's previous sense of style was somewhat eclectic
Speaking during an appearance on This Morning last month, she said: 'When you see yourself in a certain way, that never changes.
'People who are larger and then they lose weight, you will always look in the mirror and see yourself as that fat girl, no matter what happens.
'I don't see myself as that any more, but I did used to be 65lbs heavier. I get this every single day: "Oh you're so much skinnier and prettier in real life." I'm like, oh thank you, what a compliment. Have a nice day.'
