The Flex Factor: Staggering pictures of world's best bodybuilders (but is there a prize for the most mahogany tan?)
Flex: Participants pose for judges at the bodybuilding event Some of the best bodybuilders in the world gathered in the Czech capital Prague for the chance to win prizes totalling $200,000. The International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB) held the EVL Prague Pro Bodybuilding and Bikini Championships at the TipSport Arena this weekend. Britain's James 'Flex' Lewis took first prize in the 212 section, scooping a $10,000 prize, while Germany's Dennis Wolf won the open competition to take home $60,000. The event has returned to Prague after 14 years Women participated in the Bikini Pro competiton, as well as the Olympia Amateur Bikini, which presents the opportunity for the winner to go professional.The winner of the pro competition was Justine Munro of Canada, whose rippling muscles wowed judges into awarding her the $10,000 prize. The EVL website states: 'In contrast to the muscularity, the last two categories will present the gentle beauty of formed and reinforced women´s bodies.' The event is named after promoter Eva Sukupova, a former IFBB Pro bodybuilder, and is the IFBB’s first event in the Czech Republic in 14 years. Sukupova, a three-time winner of the World Championships, participated in seven Ms. Olympia competitions during her professional bodybuilding career. Pumped: A participant warms up backstage.
