She's undergone somewhat of a transformation in recent months, having chopped off her hair, dyed it blonde and revamped her wardrobe after whittling down her frame with Pilates.
So it was little surprise Miley Cyrus 2.0 went all out with an eye-catching ensemble as she sat down with Jay Leno on Friday night.
The 19-year-old star greeted the late night host in a daring black bralet, which left very little to the imagination.
Her microphone had such little fabric to cling to, it sat in the middle of her chest - undoubtedly an awkward ordeal for the sound department.
The newly-platinum blonde singer didn't seem fussed by her risqué choice of wear, happily showing off her slim waist as she walked on set to a cheering studio audience.
Miley clopped to the Tonight Show stage in red pumps and a maxi skirt featuring the Manhattan skyline to the Burbank-filmed show, so perhaps she was just in a New York state of mind.
She went on to tell Leno about on of the less glamorous events of her career - when she got sick on stage.
In the past two weeks, both Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber have emptied the contents of their stomachs while performing.
And Miley has just revealed that she too has gotten sick during one of her concerts.
'I had that happen one time and I was actually good because I got off stage quick enough and my mom was sitting there with a bucket,' the 19-year-old superstar recalled.
'But I just kept going back and forth, like, "I'll be back in five seconds," and then I'd return and go, "Here I am everyone, fabulous, (wiping mouth) sorry front row, you all now have the flu."'
The Hannah Montana star added that her considerate mother Tish also had Sprite on hand in the wings to settle her famous daughter's tummy.
Miley was on the show to promote her guest starring role on Two and a Half Men where she plays Missi, 'an old family friend of Walden, played by Ashton Kutcher.
In an early glimpse of her October 18 episode, the Last Song actress is seen flaunting her cleavage in bed with a shirtless Kutcher.
Miley's character comes to visit for a week and also reportedly develops a relationship with Jake (Angus T. Jones) when he comes home from the Army.
'[Missi] is just coming to L.A. to see what it's like to live out there,' co-star Jon Cryer told Us Weekly.
'And she stays with us for a few days and of course throws everything into disarray...[Miley] is beautiful and remarkable. You will enjoy her on the show!'
The Party in the USA singer must be relieved that an intruder who was arrested after being armed with scissors in the garden of her Studio City home last month was sentenced to a year and a half in prison.
According to TMZ, Jason Luis Rivera was refused probation after being found guilty of trespassing and resisting arrest in a Los Angeles Court Thursday.
