That's an unusual baby shower,.
New dad Robbie Williams no doubt has received plenty of baby gifts following the birth of his daughter Theodora Rose last month.
However, he has more to add to her collection as the 38-year-old singer's fans threw gifts up to him as he looked out of his hotel window in Milan on Thursday.
A large group of fans descended outside Robbie's hotel - but rather than a unruly mob, the kindhearted crowd besieged him with presents.
As he opened his window he was greeted by a loud noise from the crowd.
One fan also threw a small teddy bear for his daughter, which the grateful Angels star caught expertly.
His wife Ayda Field gave birth to their baby daughter, affectionately known as Teddy, in September.
He was also presented with a large balloon shaped as the letter R, which floated to his window.
Williams looked every inch the new father - wearing a natty grey cardigan, ahead of his appearance on the Italian X Factor.
Earlier, it was a different story.
Wearing a stylish brown trenchcoat, sunglasses, white shirt and black trousers, Williams launched his menswear label Farrell in the Italian city.
Milan's luxury department store Coin will stocking the Farrell Autumn Winter 2012/13 collection.
While being besieged by gifts is hardly unusual for the pop idol, he made sure to return the favour.
To celebrate the release of his new single Candy, he has announced details of a U.K. karaoke party on October 27.
Lucky Voice venues across the country will open their doors at 12pm so fans can attempt to sing a selection of Robbie's songs, including Candy and a never-before-heard track from forthcoming album Take The Crown
Robbie said: 'I know a lot of my songs are big hits at karaoke so I'm chuffed to be taking over Lucky Voice for a whole day.
'I hope you're all going to do me proud and go mental!'
Candy is released on October 28.
