Oh no! Jessica Simpson stepped out in New York last night in an unflattering coat


When it comes flattering outfits, she doesn't always get it right.

And singer Jessica Simpson struck out yet again last night as she stepped out in New York wearing a giant brown poncho.

The fur-trimmed coat completely swamped Jessica's frame and did little to compliment her curvy figure.

And the look was finished off by an oversized leopard-print handbag that was more New Jersey than New York.

But perhaps she was just tired after her holiday weekend activities.

The singer spent the Thanksgiving weekend in a New York hotel with fiance Eric Johnson and his family, after taking part in the Macy's parade on Thursday.

And as Johnson is vegan, she even cooked several vegan dishes for the football sat alongside a regular traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Jessica had an oven put into her hotel suite for the task, and took over some of the hotel kitchen too.

Despite the fact that the 30-year-old is a big meat eater, she was willing to compromise with her new fiancé.

'After getting out of the NFL, [Eric] went to this healer and is very healthy,' she said. 'For Thanksgiving we have to make a Tofurkey!'

But it doesn't look like she will be converting to veganism any time soon.
She said: 'I'm from Texas – I'd fry a steak. We eat all casseroles and giblets!'
